The River Needs You!
Membership support is critical to the LRCA's ability to continue its work to promote the conservation, restoration and protection of the Lackawanna River. Your ideas and energy are vital to our work. We need to speak with one voice for our River and its Watershed as we promote smart economic growth for our future.We are working to improve the trails along the river, the water quality of our river and streams, and preserving our natural habitat. We also promote education, scientific research, and public involvement in the stewardship of our valley's natural resources.
Every member who takes our cause to heart, our message to the community, and our mission into their lives brings us closer to achieving our goals.
We invite our members to assist in the recruitment of other members as well as volunteering your services in a variety of ways. We have many opportunities for you to socialize with others as we perform monthly trail cleanups, water testing, and special events planning.
