The enthusiasm has grown two-fold. The paddlers travel approximately three miles down the Lackawanna River, launching at Parker Street Landing and finishing at Sweeney’s Beach, where they are greeted by well-wishers and can begin to warm up by the bonfire. Participants continue to defrost around the bonfire enjoying hot refreshments and snacks. All are invited to BYOB (basket) for an afternoon of wintry fun!
